NOTE: BREAK software is only available for Windows. Break Reminder Indicator: An illuminated logo on the inside of the mouse acts as a visual reminder to take breaks.Users can easily cycle between 500, 1500, 20 DPI settings. Multiple Sensor Level Settings: The Cursor Speed button is positioned just behind the left and right buttons. The upper button is easily activated by rocking the thumb upwards, in order to access the lower button the thumb must be moved out of the well and slightly down before activation can be accomplished. Back/Forward Thumb Buttons: Browsing Back and Forward is easily accomplished via the thumb activated buttons located just above and below the thumb well.It also keeps the finger from becoming overly sensitized from being dragged over across the mousing surface. This actively encourages users to use their "arm" to achieve cursor control, rather than relying on micro movements of the fingers and thumb. Pinkie Finger Flange: To encourage users to avoid traditional "pinching" movements, the R-Go HE Break mouse has a flange that keeps the little finger from making contact with the mousing surface.Easy Vertical Scrolling: The HE Break scroll wheel is rubber coated and features distinct detents.Because the fingers do not press down against the desk users may need to learn to exert compensating force from the thumb to counter lateral movement. The fingers still perform the same functions, but from an angled hand posture. Effectively it is a traditional 2-button mouse design that has been angled outward. No Learning Curve - The angled orientation of the R-Go Mouse requires little adaptation. Note: When selecting the appropriate size of R-Go Mouse the hand should be measured from the tip of the middle finger to the first crease in the wrist. The R-Go HE Ergonomic Mouse is also available in a standard Wired model as well as the Wireless model for cord-free convenience. ![]() The software monitors computer activity and changes the logo colour between Green (Good), Orange (Break Reminder), and Red (Break was skipped or daily usage limit exceeded). The customizable "Break Reminder" software provides a mechanism for users to set the duration and spacing of break periods as a well as a maximum daily use. This virtually eliminates the potential for the development of RSI from repetitive or sustained wrist extension. In addition, because the hand is now elevated up and away from the surface, users are no longer able to "plant" the heel of their hand in the manner that the traditional mouse position encourages. This angled posture reduces strain on the tissues of the forearm when compared with the traditional pronated "palm down" position. ![]() The Break model features the same design and functionality of the other HE Ergonomic Mouse models, rotating the hand upward and outward. The R-Go Break HE Ergonomic Mouse from R-Go Tools is a proactive model of the HE Ergonomic Mouse which includes customizable "Break Reminder" software and a coloured visual reminder on the mouse.
